So you've composed a post for social media and added it to the queue. The next step is ensuring that your post is published on schedule!
You're able to manually select the day(s) and time(s) you would like your posts to go out each week or if you'd prefer, you can simply click 'Optimise Engagement' and the platform will choose the most effective schedule for your posts based on prior activity. NOTE: Refer to your Insights or data from your favourite platforms to make sure your schedule meets your followers needs.
The drop-down menu next to the Optimise Engagement button will allow you to fine-tune the way the platform decides your schedule.
You can also choose a Periodic Schedule. Using this method, the platform will continue to publish posts at the interval you choose for a particular time period (e.g. 5 posts per day between 8:00am and 5:00pm).
Re Images: As the images are pulled through from a website platform such as Wordpress, there may be issues in ensuring the right image is connected to the post. In fact, even if there is a preview of the image showing in the portal, there's no guarantee that the same image will be displayed on Facebook or the other networks. As this is a random grab by the Facebook API it may be best to add your own image.
