      How to run a Sanctions “Quick Search” on a HubSpot Company or Contact

      See instant Sanctions Search results directly in HubSpot, without initiating the screening process.

      Understanding Quick Search:

      Sanctions.io for HubSpot (DoSanctions) allows you to search all sanctions records for potential matches quickly. This is useful to quickly determine if a contact or company would produce any results that require screening decisions, without saving any data.

      Quick search shows immediate search results on-screen. These results do not form part of the screening process, so quick search does not record any screening decisions such as “Whitelabel” or “False Positive. No notes or PDF files are recorded on the HubSpot object activity timeline.

      Keep in mind that each Quick Search consumes a single search from the total number of searches included in your Sanctions.io subscription.

      Running a “Quick Search”

      1. Company and Contact “Quick Search”
        1. On a HubSpot Company or Contact record, view the Company screening or Contact screening app card in the middle column and press Quick Search

        2. A side panel app card will appear, where you can customise additional search criteria, then press Start Quick Search

        c. View the quick search results. All results appear as a table summary together with the % score of the likelihood of a positive match

        d. Click the chevron “>” to expand and view the full details of each search result.

      e. If no further Quick Searches are required. Close the side panel. No information will be recorded on the HubSpot Company or Contact.
