DoQuotes Workflow Actions - What do they do?

How to Add Taxes to your Quotes? How to Add Quote Title? Add a Fee to your Quote. Add a Discount to a Quote.

Example of a Fee: Service or Delivery, Postage

Example of a Discount: One off 10% disc, Self-serve disc, Sign up to the Newsletter First time purchase, Black Friday offer

Example of Quote Title: Different to Quote number - changes Quote titles to allow for cloning or duplicating a quote. Applies a new quote number and title (works on old HS way or DOQ).


Setup a Workflow with a DoQuotes Action

In your HubSpot portal, go to

Create a HubSpot Automations > Workflows

> Automation

> Workflows

> Create Workflow - from scratch

> Add a Quote-based workflow

Create a Quote-based Workflow

> Next

> Set up a Quote Enrolment trigger

Setup Enrolments triggers

> Define a Event Trigger, for example, new quote (object) is created:

> Click the + symbol to add a DoQuotes Action  - Integrated apps (bottom)

DoQuotes - choose the DoQuotes Workflow Action

> Click on DoQuotes to see all options when needed for each type of example given above, e.g. Taxes, Quote title, Fees or Discount.

In this example we'll Add tax to quote 

> Set the type of tax (VAT) and either Percentage or Fixed rate, e.g. 20 (= 20% NO percentage sign is required)

DoQuotes - Add tax to quote

> SAVE and Publish to allow the Workflow to run.

In this example for Tax, you may only need to set this once for it to be applied to all Quotes.
