This step is not required if the Buyer Company record already has associated Contacts.



Why use DoQuotes Multi Quotes


As a Multi Quote user I want to offer Resellers the opportunity to bid on a single Deal. I add my Reseller Companies to the Deal along with their associated contacts. On the Deal, I select "Create Multi-Quotes" via the DoQuotes App Card menu. Multi Quotes processes quotes for each Company associated with the Deal -

Features and situations where DoQuotes will save time and money:

  • The customer has multiple resellers bidding on a single deal so must create multiple quotes and ensure they are only sent to the Reseller contacts, not others and not the customer.
  • Quotes are selected to be generated for every company associated to the deal by default however, you can also deselect any company from the multi quote panel when creating.
  • If the deal already has a quote for a given buyer company, no new quote is created. Quotes are only created for eligible companies with no existing quote.
  • The Quote title will be a combination of "Quote Reference number + deal name + buyer company name "EXAMPLE: Q0010 - New Gifts Deal - HubDo"
  • The buyer contacts on the quote are only those who are on the Deal AND associated with the buyer company.
  • The user can click Publish, Copy URL and Send from the Multi-Quotes view.

    If you also have DoPricer:
  • DoPricer Pricer message and DoPricer Discount message (if present) are cleared when line items are cloned by DoQuotes on the deal.
  • DoPricer processes each new line item per the buyer Company pricing agreement on each quote. For example:
    • Company A has a wholesale price agreement for line items.
    • Company B gets no discounts or pricing agreement.
    • Company C has pricing from a pricing Catalogue.

      In each instance DoPricer CPQ will review each Company record and apply the correct pricing.

Multi-Quotes clones each Quote, DoPricer is working in the background to apply the rules of the buyer company so that each line item is processed upon quote creation.



Create your first Multi Quote

If you don't have a Deal already:

> Go to the Company record and click

> Create Deal

> Add the details of the Deal: Name, Pipeline etc and also add the Companies you will be sending the Quote to.

NOTE: Contacts already associated to the Company (buyer) DO NOT need to be added again.

If not already associated, add Company Contacts to the Deal:

Skip this section if your buyer Company record already has associated Contacts, e.g. XYZ Company has Jim Bo as the associated contact:

If your buyer Company does not have the required contacts associated to it, use this section to add new Contacts to the Company

Add Companies to the Deal

Add all relative Reseller Companies to the Deal by clicking on +Add on the Companies App Card. 

NOTE: Also make sure each Sales person using DoQuotes has setup their contact record on the Company of the Sender Company, this is where their user info will be pulled from.

> check the companies to associate them to the Deal.

> Click DoQuotes on the App Card

> Click the DoQuotes dropdown arrow to widen the view and choose the 'Create Multi-Quote' button:

'Create Multi Quotes': Quotes are generated for every company associated to the deal with a predefined Association Label (for example Resellers), NOT the primary company.

NOTE: If the deal already has a quote for a given buyer company, no new Quote is created for this company. Quotes are only created for other eligible companies with no existing quote.


Each new Company associated with the Deal will be checked (refer Note above)

NOTE: Wait a few moments for DoQuotes and HubSpot to generate the multiple quotes.

DETAILS:  

- The buyer contacts on the Quote are only those who are on the Deal AND associated with the buyer Company.

To ensure the correct details have been allocated to each Quote:

> Click on the title of the Quote. In this example, we'll use XYZ Company:

NOTE: The Contact associated to the Buyer Company, Jim Bo - XYZ Company has been checked and listed on the Quote header from XYZ Company.

From here you can step through the HubSpot Quote format OR

> Click Publish on each Multi-Quote, Copy the URL and Send.
