This document explains how we exclude you and our team members as 'visitors' in your website traffic data.
An IP address is an address in numbers assigned by your local network router. The number series looks like this, for example, 123.45.678.90
We'll require this IP address number so we can exclude you as a 'visitor' to your website. By excluding your internal traffic to your website, we will see the number of actual visitors that are interacting on your website via the conversion reports and Analytics.
If you don't know your IP Address, please head on to Google.com and type in what is 'My IP' - it's that easy.
Send us the number so we can exclude it from your HubSpot traffic.
What is an IP address and Why do I need one?
Your IP address is something you probably rarely think about, but it's vitally important to your online lifestyle. Without an IP address, you wouldn't be able to get today's weather, check the latest news or look at videos online. Without your IP address, websites like BBC, CNN or ESPN etc won't know where to send the information you have asked for; they wouldn't be able to get it to YOUR computer.
